Cookie policy
A short, honest list of what this site stores in your browser and why.
Last updated July 28, 2026. This page is maintained by Mad City Totes and describes our own practices — it is not legal advice or a certification by anyone else.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, for example — do the same job. We use very few of them, and none of them are used to build an advertising profile of you.
What we use them for
- Strictly necessary: keeping the site working, remembering form state while you complete a reservation request, and basic security.
- Preferences: remembering choices you make, such as dismissing the cookie notice at the bottom of the page.
- Analytics (if enabled): counting page views so we can see which Madison pages people actually use. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
The notice at the bottom of the page
When you dismiss our cookie notice, we store a single value in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear on every page. That value stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Clearing your browser's site data for this site removes it, and the notice will show again on your next visit.
Third parties
Our website host and, where used, our analytics provider may set their own cookies as part of delivering the site. We do not run advertising pixels or sell data to advertisers.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data in its privacy settings. Blocking them will not stop you from browsing this site or reaching us — the reservation form works either way, though some conveniences may not be remembered.
